NUML (National University of Modern Languages) is a public university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was established in 1970 as an institute to help people learn and appreciate foreign languages. It has since expanded its academic programs to include disciplines such as linguistics, literature, social sciences, engineering, management sciences and computer sciences. NUML offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in various languages and fields of study. It also conducts research and organizes seminars, workshops and conferences on topics related to language, culture and society.
NUML University Islamabad has a main campus in Islamabad and six regional campuses in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad and Multan. It also has affiliated colleges and institutes in different parts of the country. NUML has a faculty of more than 500 qualified and experienced teachers, many of whom have received international recognition and awards for their academic achievements.
