The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) is the government agency responsible for the formulation and implementation of Pakistan’s foreign policy. It is located in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
The MOFA is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is a member of the federal cabinet. The minister is assisted by a team of senior officials, including the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
The MOFA also has a number of overseas missions, including embassies, high commissions, and consulates. These missions represent Pakistan’s interests in their respective countries and work to promote Pakistan’s relations with those countries.
