Quaid e Azam University (QAU) is a public research university in Islamabad, Pakistan. It was founded in 1967 as the University of Islamabad, but later renamed in honor of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. (QAU) Islamabad is ranked among the top 500 universities in Asia and offers a variety of academic programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. (QAU) Islamabad has 34 departments, schools and institutes, and 6 centers of excellence. It also has 16 affiliated colleges and hosts over 11,000 students from all over the country and abroad.
